Search suspended for Lochnagar walker as winds reach 100mph






The look for a lacking 65-yr-antique hillwalker in lochnagar has been suspended.

Braemar mountain rescue said winds of 100mph have been recorded close by as they performed the most important operation on saturday.

The alert turned into raised at 19:30 on friday when the man didn't return.

In advance, a search and rescue helicopter positioned  men who have been missing overnight after strolling within the blair atholl/glen tilt location in perthshire.

The look for the lacking man at lochnagar will resume on sunday morning.

The search started on friday nighttime amid challenging conditions with blizzards at better stages.The wind and snow additionally hampered the rescue helicopter which needed to wait at ballater for the climate to clear at one point during the night time.

Police scotland stated a person matching the outline of the missing hillwalker became seen ascending the mountain at 14:30 on friday.
